With a capacity of 800, the theatre’s seating is spread across the stalls, amphitheatre, and general floor, making it a prominent venue for medium-sized concerts and performances in the city.
It is equipped with modern sound and lighting systems, an orchestra pit, and renovated dressing rooms, making it suitable for both theatrical productions and symphonic concerts. The interior is elegant and understated, with warm wooden wall panels adding character. Its excellent acoustics are no surprise, as it was originally built to host the Sociedad Filarmónica’s concerts. Thanks to its reputation and quality, the theatre was awarded the Silver Medal for Merit in Fine Arts in 1982.
